Boozy desserts have their place

For many occasions, a boozy dessert is just what makes sense. I served my raspberry champagne cocktail at a luncheon for friends, and it was a hit. My mother used to create a dessert with coffee ice cream, Kahlua, and toasted coconut - a snap to make for non-bakers. We put together a few semi-potent confections that are relatively effortless to make but satisfying, just the same.
