Hallmark Christmas Movies - Which is your favorite?

Our whole family loves Hallmark Christmas movies

With all the new shows on Netflix, Hulu, and other sites, there is a lot to choose from for nighttime viewing. However, it doesn’t take much for me to revert to my old favorite, the Hallmark Channel. These wholesome movies are heartwarming and sweet, and often, the plots are easy to guess, but it still draws me in for nostalgic, good entertainment.

Two years ago, I was in a New York hotel room watching a Hallmark movie, and I had to stop the film short to catch a plane. I thought about that movie all the time and needed to see how it ended. I was finally able to find it and now can purchase it and watch it over and over. Here are some of my personal favorites, but follow the link to see the complete list of Good Housekeepings “35 Best Hallmark Movies of All Time.”

Journey Back to Christmas

Starring Candace Cameron Bure, Oliver Hudson, and Tom Skerrit is my #1. It is the story of a WWII nurse who is transported to 2016 and meets a man who helps her discover the importance of family and that the true meaning of Christmas.

Let it Snow! “Stephanie (played by Candace Cameron Bure) is best described as a scrooge — she hates winter and everything that comes from it. Everything changes when her father sends her to his brand-new ski lodge for business, and she starts to see the magic of Christmas in action.”

Sleigh Bells Ring is the story of a recently divorced Pauline who is busy organizing her town’s parade and discovers an old sleigh that is brought back to its former glory by an old flame.

The Christmas Waltz

starring Lacey Chabert and Will Kemp is the story of a woman who makes a love connection with her dance instructor after her storybook Christmas wedding is canceled.
