Football Food - I Could Eat This Every Day!

Football season means hearty, non-fussy foods

I have to admit I love football season. I don’t have a favorite team or an alma mater that even played football, but I love something about all the spirit, colors, and foods of the game. Growing up in Southern California, most of us were loyal to either USC or UCLA. My dad was a Trojan, so it is in our blood. We attended the over-the-top tailgaters and joined in the revelry at the Coliseum. Today we still cheer on the Trojans and the schools our daughters attended, but more importantly, enjoy the festivities by watching games and eating the yummy food that goes with it. We have five of our favorite game foods that you can enjoy any day of the week, but especially for Monday Night Football, Thursday Night Football, College Football Saturdays, and Pro Football Sundays. Who’s keeping score?

Tradition abounds

USC Trojans put on an all-day event starting with tailgates that showcase al fresco dining at its best.
