Lemony Bow Tie Pasta Salad with Parmesan

Lemony bow tie pasta salad is a summer must-serve recipe.

With fewer than ten ingredients, this salad is vibrant in flavors of lemon, garlic, and parmesan cheese.

Lemony Bow Tie Pasta Salad with Parmesan

Yield: 4-6 servings

  • Ingredients

    1. 4 cups uncooked bow tie pasta

    2. 1 garlic clove, minced

    3. 1 to 2 teaspoons fruity olive oil

    4. 1 tablespoon lemon juice

    5. 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest

    6. 1/2 teaspoon salt

    7. 1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper

    8. 1/4 cup chopped chives

    9. 1/4 to 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

This salad can be made ahead and stored for the next day.

Directions

Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a skillet, saute garlic in oil for 1 minute. Stir in the lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Drain pasta; add to skillet. Add chives; toss to coat. Cook and stir for 1-2 minutes or until chives are wilted. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
